Raw sugar is the preferred sugar for "dry" feeding from a top feeder. Raw sugar has some moisture in it which makes it easy for the bees to work and take up.

If you need to feed hundreds or thousands of hives, we can supply large volumes of dry or liquid sugar, as well as invert sugar (the sucrose molecule has been broken into fructose and glucose which is easier for the bees to digest) at competitive delivered prices anywhere in New Zealand. We can arrange for pallet lots of dry sugar, maxi drums (840 Litres of 67 brix liquid sugar or invert sugar), and even tanker loads.
