Liquid Sugar Maxi Drum (843L/1200kg)

Liquid Sugar Maxi is a standard commercial practice in which a maxi is sent out to you for quick and easy feeding of your hives when the issue arises.

A maxi contains 67% sugar concentration or 67 Brix. One Maxi holds ~840 liters of sugar and weighs about 1.2 tonnes.

A maxi is an easy solution to feeding you hives so you don't need to mix up your own sugar saving you time and money.  You will either need to have it delivered to a Depot nearest to you so a fork hoist can lift on to a suitable trailer or be able to have fork lifting capabilities if delivered direct to a workplace premise.  We also can provide pick ups from our store and warehouse in Auckland. Just specify in the comments once ordering. 

If you are ordering your first maxi let us know as you will need to order a tap with us so you can easily get the syrup out to feed your hives. 

One Maxi can feed about 100 hives at 8.3L of sugar syrup per hive just for a point of reference. 

Once your Maxi is empty give us a call and we will arrange pick up.

Freight will need to be calculated relative to where you are, freight is generally cheaper delivered to your nearest freight depot.
