The metal entrance disc is our own manufacture and a great tool for bee access control. It has the “full open” setting, the “queen excluder” setting (allowing just the worker bees to exit and enter, preventing the queen from absconding), and the “ventilation” setting, keeping all the bees inside to ensure a swarm settles in.
