2 Dose - Formic Pro™ is the next generation in formic acid treatments for mites. Made of all natural materials. Daytime temperatures must be between 10°C - 29°C when used. Strips are to be placed across the top bars between brood boxes or on top of a single deep hive. Be sure to wear the recommended safety equipment for acid.
Treatment Options:
• 7 day Treatment: 2 strips for 7 days.
• 20 day Treatment: 1st strip for 10 days remove and replace with 2nd strip for an additional 10 days. May not be available at all locations. Please call for pallet pricing. *cannot be shipped outside of NZ.
1 Dose = 2 Strips = 1 Hive
Instructions for use and protective clothing must be worn when handling this product.

Love my honey.
Grateful that there is a treatment that can be used during honey flow. Very strong but it works great as long as I stick to the guidelines as last year I made the mistake of using it during hot temperatures and lost queens and bees. It does go very dry but I presume it is still working during the recommended time. Very expensive for me as a retired hobby beekeeper, but keeping my girls healthy is top priority.

saving the bees
This is very strong smelling so. was not surprised to see quit a lot of dead drones infant of the hive the next day. But losing drones is ok as long as I was following the instructions for 14 days and my hive is strong. I think its working ok, so I will use it again but the lower dose for 10 days. Heard good and bad results.....only first time using this and happy so far. Does dry up a bit.
