Premium 3/4 Depth Plastic Frames – Durable, Customizable, and Coating Options Available
Manufactured in New Zealand with virgin food-grade plastic, these frames are the ideal choice for beekeepers seeking a durable, efficient, and cost-effective solution. Pioneered by us in 2000, we introduced the black plastic frame, now the global industry standard. The black frame makes it easier to spot white eggs and young larvae in the cells, helping improve hive management.

- Pallet Size: 864 frames (18 cartons per pallet)
Why choose plastic frames?
Plastic frames are more durable, efficient, and cost-effective than wooden alternatives. They don't blow out in the extractor, and good drawn comb is preserved, saving the bees' energy and ultimately producing more honey.
We offer 3/4 depth frames in three different end bar widths:
Important: Please specify your preferred end bar width when ordering.
Coating Options
The frames come uncoated and require you to apply a thin layer of beeswax to encourage comb building. If you're pressed for time, we can coat the frames for you for an additional charge. Please check our coated frames category for more information.
Customization
We can mold frames in any color you desire. Some beekeepers use different colors to track comb age, such as discarding comb that is five years old. Note that colored food-grade plastics are more expensive than the basic plastic, and a small extra charge may apply for custom colors.
