Really good product, provides good set up for uncapping. good strong tubs. only downside is draining grid appears to just be a cut down queen excluder rather than a specifically made matt.

This is a great piece of equipment. With the two tub system, you get a coarse filtration of your cappings, plus the generous size of the tubs means you can cope with a large quantity of wax without making a mess. It sits nicely on a bench to make uncapping or scraping easy. A cheaper and simpler option for those that just have a few frames to extract honey from.
When you are finished, it all comes apart easily for clean up then will nest to a much smaller volume for storage.

Uncapping Unit 2-Tub
Minor thing - thought it was coming with a black lower tub, but both are yellow. Works well at containing the inevitable mess and pretty easy to clean up at the end. Probably not as efficient at getting the honey out as the old wax in suspended cloth, but still good. Thought the freight was a bit hefty and it could do with a lid, but y'know beekeepers are resourceful and you can make something up to work - mine will be 12mm ply.
