The tall smoker is designed to take more fuel and last longer between refueling. Good quality unit with air inlet valve in the bellows. This will last many years and keep working. Make sure before you first use your smoker to pull out the trivet (the little round plate that sits in the bottom of the smoker to hold the fuel off the bottom and let the air come in) and flip the legs down, then replace it. If the trivet isn't up off the bottom of the smoker it will not work effectively.
