These premium rubber gloves are available in sizes Small to XL and feature a fabric lining that makes them easier to put on and take off. The gloves come with a canvas gauntlet of a good length, which suits most beekeepers.
Fabric Lined – Helps with putting them on and taking them off.
Canvas Gauntlet – Suitable for most beekeepers, providing protection for the forearms.
Tactile Feel and Flexibility – Rubber gloves offer great sensitivity and flexibility, giving a sure grip, and are virtually sting-proof.
Advantages:
Better Grip: Rubber gloves provide a firm grip and greater tactile sensitivity.
Sting-Proof: Bees cannot sting through rubber gloves.
Disadvantages:
Sweat and Smell: For beekeepers who sweat a lot, rubber gloves may get wet and smelly, requiring frequent washing and drying.
Less Breathable: Unlike leather gloves, rubber gloves don’t breathe, which can make them less comfortable during extended hive work.
The length of the gauntlet is another personal preference. Shorter gauntlets can be more comfortable, as they don’t bunch up around the elbow, but for more protection, you may prefer longer gauntlets.
