A nice tool with a soft sponge to gently immobilise the queen for marking. The colour and dimensions may vary from the picture displayed.
Simply catch the queen (one of our Queen catching clips will do the trick) and place her in the tube. Then place the plunger in the tube and slowly push the plunger upwards with the plastic grate facing upwards. The queen will then crawl onto the sponge of the plunger and you can them gently hold her still against the grate to be marked. Then slowly release the plunger and catch the queen and put her back in the hive.
