Our own manufactured bee escape. Simple yet effective. Use multiple units for good egress, and with the large hole it provides excellent pheromone transmission attracting the leaving bees to the exit holes. The "funnel-out" hairs are very effective in preventing re-entry. A very cost effective choice and becoming more popular as beekeepers want the maximum removal of bees in the shortest amount of time.
Note that there needs to be plenty of room below the escape board for the exiting bees to easily leave the honey supers. Severe congestion near the escape exits make clearing the honey supers problematical. So if not using a deep 50mm escape board, a spacer rim needs to be added below the honey supers and the escape board.
