When embedding wax foundation into a wired wooden frame, the wire needs to be taut so that the beeswax foundation is firmly in place and comb can be drawn cleanly. If the wire is not taut, it will not be fully embedded and can lead to some issues. The Frame Wire Crimper crimps the wire so that it is able to be embedded snugly.
Roll the installed frame wire between the cogged wheels. The wire will be crimped, snugging it up tight to hold your beeswax comb foundation firmly in place and not flopping around. This ensures the comb when drawn will be straight and clean, easy to uncap and extract. Colour may vary.
