A bee brush, unlike hearth brushes or floor brushes, generally only have one row of bristles.  It is designed to move the bees off the comb without entangling them or to be too rough on either the bees or the honey comb.

This brush has natural fibre bristles that are soft with plenty of flex but still stiff enough to move the bees.
