Bee blower Dadant - petrol

The purpose of a bee blower is to effectively, and quickly remove bees from the honey supers. However, most people don't know that it is also designed to chill the bees slightly, which slows their metabolism and hence they are less likely to become an angry mob.

If you are taking many supers full of honey, a bee blower is essential.  As you lift the box off, roll it onto one short edge and pointing the nozzle at the top of the frames quickly run it up and down the gaps between the frames.  The bees will be blown out the bottom, somewhat bewildered, but unharmed, and hopefully chilled out and not looking for revenge.  You will have time to load that box on a drip tray, drape with a sheet and move onto the next.

Comes with blower instructions and maintenance manual. Stands on a welded 3 legged base with carry handle. Overall height 570mm. Overall length of blower hose 2.2 metres. Length of plastic nozzle 350mm.
