Durable white plastic hat. The wide brim is perfect for suspending veils. Or wear it as a sun hat in the garden. The plastic hat has side vents to allow air circulation and has an adjustable head band. A great beekeepers hat with the head band lifting the hat off of the head slightly for better protection against bee stings and also allowing more air flow to keep you cool.
I wear this hat/pith helmet as my sun hat while working in the garden, and of course it is ideal in combination with one of our veils. It is the coolest (temperature-wise) hat I have ever had! The vents do work.
