Comb Cutter Stainless Steel

This product is designed for cutting capped honey comb to make square cut comb honey.

Stainless steel tool cuts a 95mm x 95mm square piece of honey comb. Your cut comb will look good and fit in the standard cut comb boxes. Warming the tool before cutting works great. Good practice is to have one warming while you are cutting with the other.

Fits well in 1/2 depth frame comb, or full depth.  Give the bees a narrow starter strip of wax foundation embedded in the top bar groove, and all going well they will draw the comb down to fill the frame.  It is best when looking for cut comb in this way to use a full ten frames in the super, so burr comb is minimised and the comb when cut and put in the cut comb boxes isn't proud of the sides of the box and the lid will go on cleanly.
