Our steel wire queen excluders are made in New Zealand to our exacting standards. The gap is critical and frankly we have not found an overseas manufacturer who gets it just right.
The bare wire excluder may be used as-is, but it will perform better with a rim, to set it up off the top of the frames. The bare wire excluder is sold with the expectation that you will fit a rim. Note that we do sell rims separately.
